Health of Point Diagnostics uses different analytical methods depending on the test, including colorimetry and immunofluorescence. A small capillary blood sample is prepared using the respective test system and then quantitatively analyzed by the reader. The self-calibrating technology converts the test signal into a digital reading, rather than simply evaluating a visual test line.

Depending on the selected assay, various biomarkers can be analyzed, including vitamin D, HbA1c, CRP, ferritin, TSH, testosterone, and a lipid profile. The specific test cassette determines the parameters, sample volume, and run time. Results are available digitally for further clinical interpretation, documentation, and monitoring of progress.

Depending on the test, results can be available within 3 to 15 minutes and can be immediately incorporated into consultations, follow-up visits, or structured health and longevity programs.

Which biomarkers can be measured?

The available test portfolio includes, among others, vitamin D, HbA1c, CRP, ferritin, TSH, testosterone, and a lipid panel. The parameters available depend on the test cassettes used in each case and may be expanded as the test portfolio grows.

How soon will the results be available?

Depending on the specific test, the quantitative result is available in about 3 to 15 minutes. This allows the test to be performed during an existing appointment, and the result can then be discussed immediately.

What sample is needed for the measurement?

For these tests, approximately 5 to 45 µl of capillary blood from the fingertip is sufficient. Depending on the test system, other sample types—such as serum, plasma, whole blood, saliva, or urine—may also be processed.

Does the Health of Point diagnostic test require its own lab space?

No. This compact system does not require a dedicated lab space or extensive installation. As a result, it can be integrated into locations such as consultation rooms, health studios, longevity centers, physical therapy clinics, fitness clubs, or hotel and spa facilities.

Can the range of tests be expanded later?

Yes. The platform is designed to analyze different tests using corresponding test cartridges. This allows new parameters to be added to the diagnostic portfolio without having to use a separate reader for each new test.

How are the results documented?

The results are available in digital format and can be saved, exported, and used for reports. The device can store up to 10,000 results. According to the manufacturer, reports can also be customized and used for further consultation.
