Photobiomodulation works with light in the red and near-infrared spectrum, which modulates biological processes at cellular level. The focus is on the interaction with mitochondrial structures, in particular with cytochrome C oxidase, which can influence cellular energy production, among other things. This is a non-invasive and non-thermal procedure.

Lumivera translates this principle into a professional application system with nine wavelengths from 480 to 1060 nm, dual-chip LED technology and high irradiance. As a result, superficial and deeper application areas can be mapped in one system logic, from small panels to large-area full-body solutions.
