Corebalancer water plasma operator check: which facility the application pays off for

Short answer

The Corebalancer uses two reactors to generate water plasma from water, a mixture of hydrogen, oxygen and freely available electrons, and delivers it through a nasal cannula. A session lasts 50 minutes, 30 minutes in sport mode, and needs hardly any staff. For operators, clarified installation and ventilation conditions and a price that matches the long occupancy are what count. The Corebalancer is a wellness device; health effects are not advertised.

What is the Corebalancer and what is it not?

With water plasma, the Corebalancer brings a new breathing application into longevity and wellness concepts. Before you plan the device in, procedure, installation and revenue model should be clear.

The Corebalancer® is a device for water plasma application. It generates a gas mixture from water containing hydrogen and oxygen in mono- and molecular form plus freely available electrons, and delivers it through a nasal cannula. Technically, two reactors work in parallel in a one-way electrolysis process. The Corebalancer is developed and manufactured in Germany.

  • Application: inhalation via nasal cannula, seated or lying.
  • Duration: 50 minutes in the standard cycle, plus a 30 minute sport mode.
  • Output: plasma output of up to about 2.5 litres per minute.
  • Technology: two reactors, a regenerative reactor concept instead of a classic consumable part.

What the Corebalancer is not: a medical device or a therapy. It is positioned as a wellness device for inhalation and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent diseases. Health effects of water plasma are not proven.

How does a Corebalancer session work?

For the guest, the application is simple. They take a seat, receive a nasal cannula and can read, listen to music or simply rest during the session.

  1. Reception: check suitability, explain procedure
  2. Start: fit cannula, start cycle
  3. Session: 50 minutes, seated or lying
  4. Changeover: dispose of cannula, clean station

The nasal cannula is personal or single-use. If they have health questions, guests clear the application with their physician beforehand.

For the guest, calm is what counts: fit the cannula, relax for 50 minutes.

What the Corebalancer means for space, staff and workflow

The Corebalancer is a mobile floor-standing unit. Besides space for an armchair or lounger, it mainly needs clarified installation conditions, because hydrogen is produced during generation. The device therefore has a multi-stage safety concept.

  • Space: a quiet spot for device and lounger, ideally a separate room or a screened rest zone.
  • Safety: pressure, temperature and leakage are monitored continuously; the device shuts down if anything deviates.
  • Room: defined ventilation and installation conditions plus a documented explosion risk assessment are part of the planning.
  • Staff: the team handles start, cannula and changeover after a short briefing. No continuous supervision is needed during the session.

Clarify the installation early with us and your landlord or building technician before fitting out the room.

Corebalancer vs. hydrogen and IHHT: three breathing applications

In conversation with guests, the Corebalancer is quickly confused with other breathing applications. Your team should be able to explain the distinction confidently:

ApplicationWhat is inhaledTypical procedure
Corebalancer water plasmaa mixture of hydrogen, oxygen and free electrons generated from water50 minutes via nasal cannula, seated or lying calmly
Hydrogen inhalationmainly molecular hydrogen (H₂)nasal cannula, duration depends on the system
IHHTalternating low-oxygen and high-oxygen airbreathing mask, intervals under pulse oximetry

This makes the Corebalancer not an alternative to IHHT but an application in its own right. Both can sit side by side in a longevity concept. How IHHT and IHT differ is covered in IHHT and IHT: understanding the differences before choosing a device.

How the Corebalancer pays off

Including changeover, a session occupies the station for around one hour. With ten opening hours that is at most ten sessions a day, with realistic utilisation more like five to seven. In return, the application needs hardly any staff. These models work:

  1. Stand-alone session: as a calm premium application in a longevity centre or spa, bookable like a massage.
  2. Package component: in recovery or longevity programmes, combined with applications such as IHHT, dry floating or measurements.
  3. Sport mode: the 30 minute variant as a recovery offer after training in the studio.
  4. Membership: as a quota-based service that encourages regular visits.

How to calculate utilisation realistically is shown in The utilization trap: how to calculate break-even realistically. All details on the device are on our water plasma application page.

How to communicate the Corebalancer in line with HWG

Safe to communicateAvoid
Calm application without preparation“cures” or “relieves”
Developed and made in Germany“detoxifies” or “rejuvenates”
Distinct technology with strong differentiation“strengthens the immune system”
Works well as a programme component“replaces a therapy”

A suitability check before the first session belongs in every professional workflow. If there are health questions, the application should be cleared with a physician beforehand.

HF Concepts Check: how we rate the Corebalancer by facility type

In the HF Concepts Check, we score nine criteria from 1 to 5, always for a specific facility type. The same technology can score strongly in one facility type and only moderately in another. That is exactly the point.

Common mistakes we see in projects

  • Priced like short applications: one hour of occupancy at the price of a 15 minute application never pays off.
  • Installation clarified too late: ventilation and the explosion risk assessment belong before room planning, not after.
  • Equated with hydrogen: selling water plasma as hydrogen inhalation explains the application wrongly.
  • Health claims copied: healing or health promises do not belong in advertising for a wellness device.

Conclusion

With water plasma, the Corebalancer brings a distinct, calm breathing application into longevity centres, hotels and spas. Technology and safety concept are designed for professional operation, and the team needs only a short briefing. Economically, the long occupancy is decisive: with a price that matches the session length and a place in packages or memberships, the device can be a strong unique selling point. The prerequisites are clarified installation conditions and communication without health claims.
